The selling cost of your property will depend principally of the land title of your land. In most of the case, we are dealing in Bali with 2 different titles: Freehold and Leasehold.
For Freehold, you will have to pay the seller taxes (PPH: 2,5%) when the buyer will have to pay his own taxes (BPHTB: 5%). The Notary cost, which is normally 1% will be share or not between the buyer and the seller according to the negotiation. Another cost belong to the seller is the Real Estate Agency fees (between 3 to 5%).
For Leasehold now, the rules are different and the buyer is exempted of any taxes but the seller will have to pay 10% taxes.
Here the other additional costs now. The Notary cost, which is normally 1% will be share or not between the buyer and the seller according to the negotiation. Another cost belong to the seller is the Real Estate Agency fees (between 3 to 5%).
